OFAC issues new sanctions against Iran

The U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (‘OFAC’) has sanctioned 13 individuals and 12 entities connected with Iran’s ballistic missile programme and its Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps-Qods Force (‘IRGC-QF’). All assets under U.S. control were frozen as from the date of designation, 3 February 2017. The sanctions follow a ballistic missile test by Iran on 29 January.
