Mark Tuttinger is an associate with Austrian law firm Held Berdnik Astner & Partner Rechtsanwaelte GmbH. In his practice he focuses on Austrian and EU public law, export controls, sanctions and export compliance.
He is a regular legal advisor to major Austrian and U.S.-based law firms on all issues of Austrian and EU-export controls and sanctions. His most recent legal practice included, inter alia, strategic and legal advice for oil-industry-related exports to Iran after Implementation Day of the JCPOA, advice on exports/imports of liquefied natural gas from and to the European Union, as well as advising on setting up cloud-computing solutions in compliance with Austrian export controls law.
Mark regularly contributes to legal journals on different aspects of sanctions and export controls (inter alia, to the WorldECR guide Dual-Use Export Controls of the European Union) and is a lecturer on public law at Vienna’s University of Applied Sciences.
