Australia Syria sanctions

On 17 August, Australia’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (‘DFAT’) published autonomous sanctions against a number of Syrian individuals and entities. For the most part the individuals are military officers or members of the intelligence community. Amongst the entities are:

• Syriss Logistics and Services
• The Mahrous Group and Mahrous Trading FZE
• The National Standards and Calibration Laboratory
• Yona Star International, and
• Sigma Tech
