Daniel Reisner is widely viewed as Israel’s leading expert on export controls and trade sanctions.

With a 20-year background as a senior government lawyer specialising in international law and national security, for the last decade Reisner has been heading the international law; defense and homeland security; trade control; and cyber security practice groups at Herzog, Fox & Neeman, Israel’s premier international law firm. Reisner’s clients include most of the leading Israeli corporations, as well as numerous multinationals, such as Amazon, Boeing, Facebook, Google, HP, Lockheed Martin, Mckinsey, Microsoft, NEC, Pratt&Whitney, Palantir and Philips.

In parallel to his professional legal career, between 1994 and 2014 Daniel Reisner also served as a senior member of Israel’s peace negotiation teams, working in the triple role of negotiator, legal advisor and drafter. In this capacity, he advised all Israeli Prime Ministers (including Rabin, Peres, Barak, Sharon, Olmert and Netanyahu), and participated in numerous negotiation sessions and summits. Among the notable agreements which Reisner negotiated and drafted are the Israel-Jordan Treaty of Peace of 1994 and the Israeli-Palestinian Interim Agreement of 1995, both of which remain in effect to this day.

Among his other pursuits, for the last two years Daniel Reisner has served as the negotiations mentor and coach for Microsoft’s Global Accelerator program, assisting start-ups handpicked by Microsoft in handling the complex negotiations facing them in today’s competitive international market.

Additionally, Reisner has also pursued an active academic career. He currently teaches in two of Israel’s leading academic institutions and is a highly sought after lecturer and panelist, both in Israel and abroad.
