Leonard von Rummel

Leonard von Rummel is specialised in international trade law. His expertise covers export controls and sanctions law as well as anti-dumping and safeguard measures.

Additionally, he regularly advises international companies in German foreign investment control proceedings in connection with cross-border M&A transactions. Furthermore, Leonard von Rummel focuses on excise duties (especially on energy, electricity as well as alcohol taxes).

He regularly represents his clients in proceedings in front of customs authorities, the European Commission and the German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (‘BAFA’) as well as in front of the administrative and fiscal courts.
