Professor Dr. Philip Haellmigk is the head of boutique law firm HAELLMIGK in Munich, Germany, specialising in foreign trade, export control, compliance and commercial law.
Philip is qualified both as a German attorney and as a solicitor in England & Wales. Further, he holds law degrees from the University of Montpellier (France), a PhD from the University of Osnabrueck (Germany) and a LLM from Edinburgh Law School (Scotland). Philip is also a Professor of Law at the FOM University of Munich (Germany).
Philip advises on national, European as well as international export control regimes, in particular US export control laws and its extraterritorial regulations. He advises on internal export control audits, the set-up of internal compliance programs, trade restrictions due to current embargoes, classification and licensing procedures. Further, he represents his clients in external investigations and proceedings. In addition, he provides contractual advice on export and supply agreements.
